We are an educational institution with a constructivist learning approach by skills, whose primary purpose is the training of students so that they apply their knowledge and skills in problem solving and decision making. Likewise, recognize values emanating from their traditions to allow them to be integrated in different social contexts, taking advantage of the opportunities to successfully face the present or future challenges.

We promote learning through collaborative work by using tools such as information and communication technologies, thus encouraging thought, enabling our students to use their social language skills as part of their life project.

At the Elementary level, the English Department aims to develop communicative proficiencies.

The English language is taught as a tool to communicate in everyday situation settings, developing productive and receptive language skills. When graduating from Primary school students take the Cambridge University PET Exam, when completing successfully is part of an International Certification.

Every school year we organize the Science and Culture Fair which is an opportunity to exhibit either orally or in written form, the student’s work throughout the school year.

Contests from all subjects take place in order to strengthen the needed language structures which promote interest, healthy competition and the continuous permanent study.

We also offer our students the opportunity to take part in our academic international trips which help them learn about other cultures, way of life and practice their conversational skills.

The French Department at the Primary level develops four main abilities that are required to learn the language:

• Oral comprehension
• Written comprehension
• Oral production
• Written production

Our curriculum is based on a communicative methodology, which enables our students to have the basic elements needed to engage in the language in different contexts.

Through the integration of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT), our students develop knowledge and logical skills, using educational programs, operative systems such as Windows and other software applications, among which Microsoft Office is included.

Our students are introduced to the exciting world of robotics which helps them to develop scientific and engineering technology to create objects which are prototypes of the robotic tools processes and intuition.

Through iPads and their various applications they become part in the learning society through the responsible and ethical use of technology.

It is an academic extension that supports the ecological consciousness and awareness of our students, from Preschool and Elementary grades. In addition to strengthening the knowledge of nature they acquire in the classroom through the practice of interactive activities within a natural environment. This is how they have their first contact with nature while observing Earth’s generosity through planting seeds, caring for them, watching them grow and then consuming their harvesting.

In this realm, students have the opportunity to interact with farm animals by observing, feeding, participating in their care and nurturing them.

Elementary students develop their motor and corporeality skills, thus promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Each school year we have our Youth Sports Event, where we reinforce solidarity, sportsmanship, perseverance, commitment values as well as respect amongst competitors.

In order to strengthen the comprehensive development, we also offer different extra-curricular sports workshops.
