The English Department at Argos Preparatory Academy has an objective to increase and deepen the knowledge of our students in the English language to use in the professional, academic and everyday life. Each student will achieve a high level of English to meet the demands of any University.

During their time here, we prepare our students to present on their last semester the following examinations from the University of Cambridge: Preliminary English Test, First Certificate of English, Certificate of Advanced English and Certificate of Proficiency in English. Argos School is an accredited member by the Cambridge University to be an examination center.

All the English subjects that are taught at the Preparatory level reinforce the knowledge of the language throughout each semester, promoting the development of skills and current concepts.

We offer students the opportunity to study one or two semesters abroad, in order for them to obtain first-hand knowledge of other cultures as well as to practice the language skills.

The French Department at Argos Preparatory Academy teaches language courses based on a communicative methodology, which enables our students to consolidate previously acquired knowledge to engage in different contexts.

We offer three levels of education, in each of which the purpose is to present the corresponding DELF exam, which is recognized internationally and supported by the French Education Ministry:

• Level beginners – DELF A2
• Intermediate level – DELF B1
• Advanced level – DELF B2

We have a program that allows our students to study one or two semesters in the city of Tours, France, which gives them the possibility of perfecting the language skills in addition to enriching cultural experience.

Through the Information Technology and Communication (ICT) our students develop their creative, innovative and collaborative skills in a virtual environment using the Microsoft Windows operating systems and Mac OS X, software for graphic design for commercial applications (Adobe Suite and Mac) and programming in order to become productive citizens in a digital era taking effective participation in the highly competitive global workplace.

At Argos Preparatory Academy we instil in our students sports as a discipline fostering in them a healthy lifestyle through exercise and healthy habits that allow them to have a better quality of life.

Each school year we carry out our Youth Sports Event, where the values of solidarity, friendship, perseverance, commitment and respect among the competitors are strengthened. Likewise, we have obtained satisfactory results in sports tournaments at regional and State level.

In order to strengthen the comprehensive development, we offer evening sports workshops such as: Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Tochito Flag and American Football.
