In 1979, Colegio Argos was born out of the concerns and longings of our founder Mrs. Enny Negrete (1979-2015), to offer society a different option of a private educational institution for children and teenagers which promotes respect, love and care for themselves and others.

The school adopted its name “ARGOS” originating from the famous Greek ship which embarked with Hellenic youth in search of the Golden Fleece, a precious treasure that signified knowledge as well as, the reward to their unity and effort.

With this ideal and illusion the Argos school, emulating the mythical vessel, opened its doors with the firm purpose to offer a vanguard education.

Our biggest challenge is that through the education process it will enhance mankind, as the medium that shortens distances between generations and moreover, as the most valuable resource to students committed to the pursuit of truth, knowledge and the goodness.
