In 1979, Argos School emerged from the concerns and aspirations of our Founder Mrs. Enny Negrete (1979-2015), to offer society a private educational institution that would provide children and adolescents with a different option, aiming to shape them into individuals who love, respect, and care for themselves and others.

The school took its name, ARGOS, from the famous Greek ship on which the most select of Hellenic youth embarked to seek the Golden Fleece, a precious treasure that symbolized for them knowledge and the reward for their unity and effort.

With this ideal and great enthusiasm, Argos School, emulating that mythical vessel, opened its doors with the firm purpose of providing cutting-edge education.

Our greatest challenge is to understand education as the process that ennobles humanity, as the means that bridges generational gaps, and, above all, as the most valuable resource for making our students individuals committed to the pursuit of truth and good.
